February is prime time in Whistler, and we’ll make full use of Whistler Blackcomb’s huge variety of terrain to help you improve across the mountain. Whether your focus is powder, moguls, steeps, trees, all-mountain skiing or park and air, our coaches will take you where the conditions are best and help you build the skills and confidence to ski it better.
And during this holiday week, lift-line priority is a game changer. Less waiting, more laps, more coaching and more skiing.
Elite Coaching — Maximum 4:1 Ratio
Our Whistler Week coaching team brings together some of Momentum’s most experienced and accomplished coaches, including Camp Director John Smart, freeskiing pioneer and industry legend Mike Douglas, veteran coach Ken Rhodes and two-time Olympian Ryan Johnson.
These coaches have been at the forefront of freestyle skiing, high-performance coaching and athlete development for decades — and they are also longtime Whistler locals with an intimate knowledge of these mountains.
That local knowledge matters. They know where to go, how the mountain changes with the weather, where the best snow tends to hold, and how to make the most of each day. Just as importantly, they bring decades of connection to the ski world, from World Cups and Olympics to equipment development, filmmaking, coaching and the evolution of freeskiing itself.
Spending a day with this crew is about much more than simply improving your technique. You’ll come away skiing better, but also with a deeper understanding of the mountain, the sport and the culture that has shaped skiing in Whistler for generations.
Group sizes are limited to a maximum of four skiers per coach. Spending a full week together in such small groups gives our coaches the chance to really understand your skiing, identify what will make the biggest difference, and work with you in a much more focused and personalized way. We keep camps intentionally small, with 16 spots available. Additional coaching may be added if demand is exceptionally high.
Short on time? You can also join us for either the first or last 3 days of the camp.
Park skiers will enjoy access to Whistler/Blackcomb’s world-class park facilities, as well as to the Gemini Freestyle Centre, including landing airbag and beginner rail and jump setup. Hybrid Super Coach, Marc Tanner will be leading the way for all those interested in Park skiing or a mix of Moguls and Park. More Park coaches TBC.
Optional Heli or Cat Skiing Day
The week is designed around three days on snow, one day off, then three more days on snow.
Your mid-week day off is yours to use however you like. Take a well-earned rest, explore Whistler, or — if the weather and snow conditions line up — take advantage of the opportunity to experience a day of heli or cat skiing in our extended backyard.
Heli and cat skiing are not included in the camp price and would be booked separately depending on conditions and availability.

- 6 days of coaching: Feb 14, 15, 16, and 18, 19, 20.
- Option to book first or last 3 days only.
- Adults only (ages 19+)
- Geared for high intermediate to advanced skiers (High Level 5/Level 6 +). Must be advanced on groomed trails, able to make short radius turns and comfortable on single black diamond runs and keen to venture off-piste!
- Access to the world class Gemini Freestyle Centre Mogul Course included.
- Access to Gemini Airbag facility available for a small access fee.

- Full Week (6 days): $ 2,450.00 + GST
- 1/2 Week (3 days): $1,225.00 + GST. First or last 3 days only.A $600 deposit will be charged at time of booking, with the balance charged on January 14 – 30 days before camp starts. ($300 deposit for 1/2 camp)

Insurance
- Participants must have their own out-of-country medical insurance and we strongly recommend non BC residents add an ‘Out of Province’ insurance policy.
- Participants must also have their own trip cancellation insurance.
Cancellation Policy
- Before January 14: Deposit refund, less a 3% credit card processing fee
- After January 14: Deposit and balance are non-refundable (Please be sure to have your own trip cancellation insurance to cover this).
You must book directly with Momentum and cannot book through Whistler/Blackcomb.
