Grete Eliassen

Former camper and freeskier pioneer, Grete won the inaugural women’s ski superpipe gold medal at X-Games Aspen in 2004. She still holds a world record of jumping 31 feet off a hip jump in Park City, Utah in 2010 for her ski movie, “Say My Name.” Grete is a fierce competitor but her main objective in skiing is to highlight all types of skiing and continue to push the boundaries and opportunities for up and coming generations. Recently, she worked on a pilot program to help coach and mentor the University of Utah Freeride Team. Grete is an alumni graduate of the U and wanted to help the next generation of freeskiers balance skiing and school at the same time.
